Schülerferienticket information
The Schülerferienticket is valid in Saxony-Anhalt and for Mitteldeutscher Verkehrsverbund (MDV) services.
- For one journey from/via Saxony-Anhalt to Berlin and back on regional trains operated by DB Regio AG and ODEG as well as on the Harz-Berlin-Express (HBX, Fri - Sun only) with no changeover in Berlin.
- To the stations outside of Saxony-Anhalt shown on the map
- On the Harzer Schmalspurbahnen, except for the Schierke - Brocken route, for which there is a one-time discount: For a return ticket, you only pay a child's fare
- im Nahverkehrszug (2. Klasse): RE, RB, IRE, S-Bahn, MRB, EB, ODEG, Abellio, HANS, DWE (Dessau - Wörlitz)
- On buses and trams
Caution! The ticket is not valid for EC, IC, ICE or D-Zug trains or the night train.
Off to Berlin
The ticket is also valid for one journey from/via Saxony-Anhalt to Berlin and back (but not the other way round!), on regional trains operated by DB Regio and the Ostdeutsche Eisenbahn (ODEG), on the IRE (Stendal-Berlin) and the Harz-Berlin-Express (HBX, Fri - Sun only). The journey must be direct (other than transfers in Wittenberge, Rathenow and Falkenberg/Elster). Outward and return journeys may be on different days. Ticket is not valid for onward journeys in Berlin.
Bike transportation
Did you know? You can take your bike with you for free on regional trains in Saxony-Anhalt and the Mitteldeutscher Verkehrsverbund (MDV) zone, as well as with many bus companies. Bicycle transportation is always dependent on capacity in the vehicle. Please check the relevant conditions before departure!
